This intensive 4-day course will gave students insights into the creation of visual effects used in film post production. It covered a wide range of topics from basic camera operation through to cutting edge filmmaking technologies such as virtual cinematography.
This course demonstrated basic programming concepts and walked students through examples of autonomous flight.
Students learnt Block, Python, and JavaScript coding by executing their code on small indoor friendly Tello drones that fly autonomously indoors.

The project involves the creation of interactive visualisations of the Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Hub for the Southwest Development Commision
Using the latest visualisation technology interactive fly-throughs of proposed infrastructure around the Bunbury region are being created.
Produced a QR code based system where overeas visitors can view translations of the text associated with each exhibit in thier own language.
Project involved the recreation of the life size sculptures in 3d using photogrammetry. These were then 3d printed ready for fabricating metal minatures for sale

During COVID lockdown we installed a streaming server in the Dolphin Discovery Centre so the public could view the marine life online.
We updated the 360 CGI dolphin content that is displayed in the Dolphinarium to enable it to be displayed on eight Virtual Reality headsets. A custom UI was developed that allow the public to view the content with minimal staff interaction

We create a large wall constructed of multiple 55" LCD panels . Visitors to the Dolphin Dicscovery Centre colour in an image of a marine animal . This is then scanned and the colouring is mapped onto a fish is the digital aquarium.

The MRBTA project involved the filming of over 100 locations in the southwest and displaying them on a custom-built interactive interface in four visitor centres in the region.

We filmed 360 underwater footage of marine life under Busselton Jetty. Installed 8 Portable VR headsets that are used at the Underwater Observatory when visbility is low. Visitors experience what it is like to dive at the end of the jetty by way of 360 underwater footage viewed on Virtual Reailty Headsets
